Destination: South Beach, Miami

The middle of fall is the perfect time for a girls trip and this year, my friends and I escaped the dreary, cold October rain for a luxe filled weekend in South Beach.

We stayed at the Mondrian Hotel, a 4-star modern hotel right on Biscayne Bay with gorgeous views of star island and all the amenities we could ask for. I enjoyed the sleek and eclectic decor of our suite, lunging on their ultra-glamorous pool deck, and their Sunday brunch was to die for!

Views from here were breathtaking! We spent our lazy afternoons here sipping cocktails and taking photos for the ‘gram.

My delicious spread from brunch, The pineapple salsa on that snapper was my fave!

Our first spot we hit after checkin was the Soho Beach House. It was the perfect place to settle in after a morning of travel! We got to chill and unwind on the private beach with full waiter service and private chairs, cooler, and umbrellas. We sipped prosecco and munched on light bites and enjoyed the quiet of a not-crowded beach.

Yummiest ceviche I’ve ever had! And the plantain chips made them even better.

We ventured out to Wynwood for our first night out which is Miami’s more “artsy” district. We danced the night away at a shabby-chic, outdoor spot called El Patio.

We loved dancing to all the Latin music especially up on the steps (left) which were filled with people partying and enjoying themselves.

My favorite lunch spot we went to was The Social Club, a very cute and swanky restaurant inside the Kimpton Hotel. They’re menu featured ritzy cocktails and Southeast-American style food. I enjoyed a Cuban sandwich (my fave) and yukka fries with bottomless mimosas, of course!

My experience in South Beach wasn’t everything i could ask for. It was luxurious, exciting, relaxing and I had some wonderful meals. I also met new people, partied hard with my girls, and enjoyed the beach breeze and sun on my skin. I can’t wait to go back!
