The Most Instagrammable Place on Earth

After seeing countless Boomerangs On Instagram from influencers and celebs, I made it an absolute priority to visit the Museum of Ice scream on my latest visit to Miami. My first reaction was “OMG I died and went to pink heaven”. The outside was an adorable white building with pink trim and the most adorable pink palm trees outside.

When you walk inside, LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS PINK. The first stop of the tour is the famous sprinkle pool, which I was most excited about. I was so anxious to jump in a pool full of sprinkles, but the pool was a little small. They give each group a strict 4 minute limit for pics in the pool and after that you’re free to walk through the museum and take pics as you wish. The sprinkles in the pool are NOT real which was a surprise to me, but also a delight.

The rest of the museum consisted of very colorful, dessert-themed rooms filled with girls taking turns hitting their good angles for their blogs and Instagrams alike. I actually felt a little embarrassed about how shameless the whole thing was.

For a “museum”, I really didn’t learn much of anything. It was more of a fun, visual experience than an educational one. However, there were snacks and desserts served throughout which was quite cool.  My favorite room was probably the “jungle” with all the pink palm trees and fruit shaped swings.  I had a good time and definitely got a lot of photos, but idk if the experience is worth the $45 ticket tbh. And I hate to say, but for an ice cream museum, I didn’t really love the ice cream! It was okay, but nothing special. But on the other hand, I’m happy I went and got my cute photos and am no longer left to wonder what it’s all about. My 4 minutes in the sprinkle pool will never be forgotten.
